Our tour was in a word AMAZING!! This made Stravenger a highlight for us. Our Captains were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The boat ride was sooo much fun for all and the views of the fjords, waterfalls, and Pulpit rock were outstanding. This is a must do in Stravenger!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! We visited Stavanger on a P&O cruise and booking direct with Stavanger Rib was so much cheaper. Really convenient, meeting point is literally a 2 minute walk from getting off the ship. Had 2 teens, 12 and 16 who absolutely buzzed off it! Wetsuit (which keeps you warm!) goggles and gloves all provided. Compartment on the boat for bags. Pockets in the front of the seats for your phone to get out and take pics when the boat slows down. Highly recommend this company!

Last minute decision to grab the last 2 seats. One of the best excursions ever. This place is a class act. Great quality survival suits - comfortable, waterproof and warm. Chair were exceedingly comfortable. Boat was smooth even in rough waters. Captain was professional and capable. Would 100 percent do again!! Do this - you will be talking about it forever!! OMG, this was amazing!! It was fun, exciting and beautiful!! Organized process, staff was awesome and our “Captain” was Arnie, who has a wealth of experience. I’d love to have a meal with him and just listen to his experiences. We had nice weather, the views are spectacular!!! I can’t say enough positive things about my time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! For cruisers, it’s a 2 minute walk to the location, very easy.

This was a fantastic 2 hour experience. The speedboat ride was exhilarating but not at all frightening. The scenery was astonishing. The crew were fabulous and friendly. Goggles gloves and waterproof suit provided. One of the best holiday trips I have been on. This is a “must do” if in Stavanger.

Our experience with Stavanger: Lysefjord Rib was phenomenal! The crew were very self explanatory The ride was breathtaking!! Arnie our “captain” was the BEST!! He was so informative of our stops. We got to see Pulpit Rock where Mission Impossible was filmed, Whisky Falls, Billy goats and such beautiful scenery. A MUST do while you visit Stavanger!

You will not be disappointed with this beautiful tour- the views were breathtaking and the operator did a wonderful job keeping it interesting with tidbits of information along the way. As well, Rob took a few extra steps when he didn’t need to- he made sure there was transportation from our cruise port in Mekjarvik to Stavanger and reached out to all of us booked with him on the cruise to let us know. (We had been given conflicting information from the Cruise line regarding this). Thanks so much!

Incredible experience. Very professional. We did the private tour for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We met rain but the suits are very efficient, warm & dry. Great!!!

Absolutely recommend Stavanger RIB for your Lysefjord Sightseeing tour in Stavanger. We wanted to see the Fjords in a spectacular style and definitely achieved this. Stavanger RIB provided excellent up front information and when the day came they provided us with the equipment we needed for comfort and safety and took us on a beautiful, interesting and thrilling ride around the Fjords. 100% recommend this tour. Stavanger RIB have the best boats of all operators and the equipment provided was second to none. Being much smaller than the larger cruise boats you get right up close to caves and waterfalls. Helly was an excellent guide, tusen takk!

Loved this experience! Helge was a great captain, making sure we were all happy and explained things to us without it feeling like he'd said it a billion times before, as I'm sure he must have. He even stopped when he spotted a seal and again when he spotted some mountain goats. We were able to stop at each of the main sights long enough to take sufficient photos and have a good look round. We saw one of the bigger cruise boats at one point, with lots of people crowding to be at the edge to get a view. You definitely don't get that problem on this rib experience. I sat at the back because I get motion sickness, but I didn't have a hint of nausea on this trip. Everyone is given the overalls and life jacket (obviously). It gets super windy at the high speeds so make sure your hair is tied back securely! I wear glasses but didn't feel like I was going to lose them. Really loved this experience - well worth the money. Tip - sit on the left for optimum views, but really there is no bad seat, all gave great views.

This was a FABULOUS trip!! The owner took time to explain things to us and help us on the boat. Our driver was so capable on his ability to go fast through the fjord but then land very gently against the rocks. Loved the views!! My husband said it was the best experience of our two week trip to Norway. I highly recommend taking this fun trip

Absolutely fantastic trip. The staff are impeccable and went above and beyond to help get us on a trip for the one day we were in port on our cruise. The boat ride was so much fun and the fjord was beautiful!

The ride on the boat, the views we saw of many sights including Pulpit Rock and the commentary/stories from the boat captain were all absolutely wonderful. But the kindness and helpfulness of the captain was way above and beyond what one would expect. Both of us had mobility issues and I had decided to just not go- couldn't get on the suit and just felt I should pass. The captain helped me get on the suit and sat me next to him to be sure I was stable. He made it a most memorable trip for both my wife and me. Can't say enough good about how this was!!

Amazingly helpful crew in the leadup to the trip - they were in touch regularly on email and helped us sort transport from the northern cruise terminal. On the day, the launch was easy to find and instructions were clear. We set off perfectly on time and they even arranged clear and calm weather! The guide was knowledgeable and drove the craft well - a nice mix of white knuckle mixed with calm spells. The view around the fjord walls was gorgeous and the boat was a joy. Overall, I can't recommend these guys enough. Excellent from start to finish - we would gladly use them again.
