Journey through the full majesty of the fjord onboard a RIB, covering all 42 kilometers of Lysefjorden to its breathtaking finale in Lysebotn

Through the Heart of the Fjord

Embark on an unforgettable voyage across the full majesty of the Lysefjord, covering its entire 42-kilometer length; from entrance at Oanes to final reach in Lysebotn. This exclusive RIB-safari offers a front-row seat to the region’s most awe-inspiring sights, including the towering Preikestolen, the legendary Kjeragbolten, and the world’s longest wooden staircase at Flørli. As you navigate the pristine waters of the fjord, you'll glide past hidden caves, rushing waterfalls, and rugged cliffs, all while keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as seals, porpoises, and soaring sea eagles.

When you reach the fjord’s grand finale, you’ll be able to stretch your legs and take awalk in the remote village of Lysebotn, a picturesque community with deep roots in Norway’s hydropower history. Stroll through the charming settlement, take in its stunning mountain surroundings, and perhaps snap a photo of what might be the world’s smallest fire station.

Wonders to Behold: This tour includes all the sights from our shorter Lysefjorden RIB-Safari, bringing you up close to iconic landmarks such as Preikestolen, the gargantuan 75-meter-tall Whisky Falls, and the mysterious Vagabond Cave.

Deeper into the Fjord: On this extended safari, you’ll experience even more of Lysefjorden’s hidden gems, including the legendary Kjeragbolten, the world-famous Flørli Steps, Håhelleren farm, the statue of Pilt-Olav, and one of the fjord’s most popular gathering spots for seals.

Set foot in Lysebotn: You'll also be able to visit the secluded fjord-side village of Lysebotn, famous for its scenic beauty and unique history tied to Norway’s hydropower industry.

Steered by a Storyteller: This is more than just a boat ride; it's a guided tour led by a local who knows these waters like the back of their hand. Throughout the journey, your captain will stop to share fascinating stories, legends, and historical insights about the wonders you visit.
